Before 2016, I never understood the importance of regular visits with a laryngologist. After over 15 years of singing professionally, I almost waited until it was too late and my vocal folds were beyond repair. It was the great work of Dr. Reena Gupta implementing a (then) new technique to repair a dilated blood vessel in my vocal fold.
